Boca Teams Take 2nd in SJSL Fall Season
November 20, 2001

The Jersey Shore Boca U11 and U13 teams captured second place in their respective divisions in the South Jersey Soccer League Fall 2001 season.

The Boca U11s, in their inaugural season with the Club, compiled an impressive overall record of 7-3-0 for a total of 21 points. The U11s, who are coached by Al Schwartz, scored 11 goals and allowed 12 during the season. They fell just 4 points behind the South Jersey Barons, who finished on top in the division.

The U13s, who are coached by Walt Pericciuoli, also had a very competitive fall season as they finished with an overall record of 6-2-2, good enough for 20 points and second place in their division. The Boca U13s scored 28 times while only allowing 9 goals against them, the least in their division. Winslow finished on top of the division with 24 points.

After a few holiday tournaments and a brief rest, the Boca U11s and U13s will continue their training and development over the winter. Congratulations!
