Boca To Hold Open Tryouts For Youth Teams

The Board of Directors of the Jersey Shore Boca Soccer Club announced today that the club will be holding open tryouts beginning on Wednesday May 11 for their 2011-2012 boys and girls teams in the Under-9 through Under-14 age groups that will begin play in the fall. All tryouts will be held at the John Patrick Sports Complex in Lakewood.

U9 through U14 teams looking for players and will begin play in the fall 2011

LAKEWOOD, NJ (April 28, 2011) – The Board of Directors of the Jersey Shore Boca Soccer Club announced today that the club will be holding open tryouts beginning on Wednesday May 11 for their 2011-2012 youth teams that will begin play in the fall.

Boca will be conducting evaluations for boys and girls teams in the Under-9 through Under-14 age groups. Tryouts will begin on Monday May 11 for all age groups and will continue through May 19.

Players’ age groups for the 2011-2012 season are as follows:

U14-players born on or after August 1, 1997
U13-players born on or after August 1, 1998
U12-players born on or after August 1, 1999
U11-players born on or after August 1, 2000
U10-players born on or after August 1, 2001
U9-players born on or after August 1, 2002

All Boca youth team tryouts will be held at the John Patrick Sports Complex, 860 Vine Street in Lakewood.

All players attending the tryouts should arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled start time, bring a soccer ball and wear protective shin guards.

All players attending our open tryouts must also complete and submit a Minor Release and Waiver Form at the first tryout session. Players will not be able to participate in the tryout and evaluation unless you complete and hand in this form the first time you attend.

We welcome and encourage any player who is interested in joining our club, to attend our open tryouts for an evaluation by our coaching staff.

Jersey Shore Boca has been a fixture in the soccer community since 1978 and is one of the most respected soccer clubs on the East Coast.
