Boca U17s Finalists in Binghamton NY

The Jersey Shore Boca U17 team advanced to the finals of the U17 Premiere Division of the BC Kicks – Binghamton University select tournament this past weekend in New York State.
In the first match of the day on Saturday, Boca handedly took care of the Cheshire Select (CT) U17 side 5-0.
The Boca U17s then squared-off against a powerful Carmel Select (NY) side and came away just short 1-0 in a very evenly played match.
On Sunday, the Boca U17s defeated the U17s from Camp Hill (PA) 3-0 in the first game of the day.
In what was by far the best match in the complete U17 tournament bracket, Boca faced a very strong side form Terryville CT for the second and cross-over game of the day on Sunday and dropped a hard fought match 1-0.
In the championship of the U17 premiere bracket Boca again squared-off against Terryville. After a hard fought match by both sides Boca fell 2-0.
The Boca U17s outscored their opponents 8-4 in 5 games over the entire weekend
All of the Boca U17 games were played on the campus of Binghamton University and were watched by numerous collegiate coaches who were in attendance at this event.
