Boca U18s compete well….but fall to FC Delco

The Boca U-18 Super Y-League team squared off against powerhouse FC Delco on Saturday at Oak Avenue Park in Toms River in their second USL Super Y-League match of the 2001 season.
Delco notched the first goal about 5 minutes into the match. The Boca U18 back four held Delco scorelss for the next 70 minutes of the game which was played pretty equally, even while 4 of the starting 11 Boca players suffered injuries and had to leave the match.
Delco scored their final 3 goals in the last 15 mnutes. The Boca U18s continue their Super Y-League season on Saturday June 2nd when they host the South Jersey Barons.
