The Jersey Shore Boca U19 team played their first 2005 Super Y-League season game this week while the Boca U23s picked-up their first win of the MSSL summer season at the Manchester Soccer Complex. Also, the Boca U16s suffered their first SYL loss of the season to the Philadelphia Soccer Club plus all other Boca action in this week’s edition of the Boca Soccer Wire.

Boca U23s get first win – U16s suffer first loss – U19s play first SYL game

BOCA U23s – Mid-Atlantic Summer Showcase League (1-4-0):
The Jersey Shore Boca U23s picked-up their first win of the 200 MSSL season on Sunday afternoon at the Manchester Soccer Complex with a 2-0 victory over the Winslow Soccer Club. Ryan Campbell (Pt. Pleasant) tallied the eventual game winner in the first half while Justin Fuccello (Brick) added a second goal with less than a minute to play.
BOCA U20s – Mid-Atlantic Summer Showcase League (3-2-0):
The U20s continued their shut-out streak as they topped Winslow 3-0 at the Manchester Soccer Complex on Sunday afternoon. Andrew Perez (Brick) tallied two goals while Mark Schmiegel (Toms River) added one as well as an assist.
BOCA U19s – Super Y-League (0-1-0):
The Boca U19s started their 2005 Super Y-League season with a tough loss to division leading Ironbound 3-0 at the Manchester Soccer Complex on Saturday afternoon. With the score 1-0 at the half, Boca could not capitalize on their scoring opportunities during the second stanza and the game finished at 3-0.
BOCA U16s – Super Y-League (2-1-1):
The Boca U16s saw the Philadelphia Soccer Club tarnish their 2005 SYL season start as PSC topped the U16s 3-1 at the PSC Complex in Philadelphia Wednesday night for the U16s first loss of the season. Stanley Touse scored the lone Boca goal. On Sunday at the Manchester Soccer Commplex, the U16s tied the Baltimore Bays 1-1.
BOCA U15s – Super Y-League (0-3-0):
Although Boca’s Luke Calvano and Ray Nelan tallied a goal each against powerhouse DC United, it wasn’t enough as DCU topped the U15s 8-2 on Saturday afternoon at the Maryland Soccer Complex in Potomac.
BOCA U14s – Super Y-League (0-2-0):
The Boca U14s dropped a tough match 4-2 to the Baltimore Bays (MD) on Sunday afternoon at the Manchester Soccer Complex.
BOCA U13s – Super Y-League (0-3-0):
