These are busy times for the Toms River-based Jersey Shore Boca under 18 boys soccer team.

On Wednesday, Boca will travel to Edgewood Regional High School to meet the South Jersey Barons at 6 p.m. Boca won the first match between the teams, 2-1, at Shelter Cove Park.

A rematch with nationally-ranked FC Delco will take place Friday at 6 p.m. at the United Training Center, Downingtown, Pa. Delco bested Boca, 4-0, earlier this season in Toms River.

Boca will battle the Super Nova FC on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at Toms River High School North.

Boca has signed three players in Lakewood’s Dan Corti, Colts Neck’s Ryan Aldridge and Freehold’s Jesus Salinas.

Corti, who will be a Lakewood High School senior in September, is a product of the Jersey Shore Boca Youth program. He was promoted from the Boca under 17 team.

Aldridge, a recent Colts Neck High School graduate, will continue his career at Virginia Tech in September. Salinas, who played on Colts Neck’s Group I state championship team with Aldridge, hails from Moctezuma, Mexico.Cards tie Angels

Scoring four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, the Jackson Cardinals tied the New Jersey Angels, 5-5, in Jersey Shore Baseball League action Wednesday night at the Shore Christian Academy, Wall.

Mike Beauchemin tied the game with a one-out double. Chris Calabro hit a run-scoring single with none out and Alan Forsythe lashed a two-run triple with one down. The game was called by the umpires because of darkness.
