Boca U19s Goal Lifts SJU over Boston College

Boca U19 player Angel Rodriguez (Toms River HS North) scored on a cross with just over six minutes left in the first overtime period, lifting the 12th-ranked St. John’s University men’s soccer team to a 1-0 win over Boston College in a BIG EAST men’s soccer match at DaSilva Memorial Field on Friday night.
The win increases the Red Storm’s lead in the BIG EAST to three points over Pittsburgh and Connecticut.
Rodriguez is a freshman at SJU and was part of the very successful Boca U18s last year under coach Al Schwartz.
